Some of Fort Myers and Sanibel's most impressive features are the miles of stunning coastline and white-sand beaches. 

All the beaches are classed as family friendly with their calm waters, gentle slope and easy access.

There are miles of beaches to enjoy, and many back bays, estuaries and lush mangrove forests for great kayaking and spectacular views of dolphins and exotic birds. 

There are also plenty of parks, recreation areas and marinas where you will find boating and fishing charters.

The tropical island paradise of Sanibel and Captiva are only a fifteen minute drive from the villa.  Featuring miles of pristine white-sand beaches, you will also find some of the best shelling beaches around, along with great biking and hiking trails and many acres of wildlife sanctuaries to explore.

Fort Myers beach is located at the north end of Estero Island, here you will find a casual beach village with shops and restaurants, but go further south along the coast and you will come to Lover Key State Park - one of four barrier islands it provides a haven for wildlife. 

The islands and their waters are home to the West Indian manatees, bottlenose dolphins, roseate spoonbills, marsh rabbits, and bald eagles.  The two mile long beach is accessible by boardwalk or tram and is popular for shelling, swimming, picnicking and sunbathing.

Whether you just want to sun bathe and relax on the white-sands or have a go at one of the many water sports on the beach such as jet-sking or paragliding, or even try your hand at fishing off the pier down at Fort Myers beach, there is something for every member of the family.
